This page explains what Archery Mauritius does with the information you give us when you book an appointment or leave equipment with us for repair. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Short version: we collect the minimum needed to hold your slot, contact you about it, and keep a record of any equipment you leave with us. We do not sell it, we do not advertise to you, and there is no tracking on this site.
Who is responsible
Archery Mauritius, 21,Paul Furcy Adele Street Port-Louis Mauritius. Questions, corrections, or a request to delete your details: admin@pexosolutions.com or +230 57529368.
What we collect, and why
When you book
- Your name, email address and phone number — so we know who is coming and can reach you if something changes on our side.
- The service, date and time you chose, plus your answers to any questions attached to that service (for example your draw length, bow make and model, or how many arrows you are bringing) — so the right person and the right bench are free when you arrive.
- Anything you type into the notes field. Please don't put anything sensitive there; it is a free-text box, not a secure channel.
When you leave equipment with us
- A description of the item, including make, model and any serial number, and the condition it was in when it arrived.
- Photographs taken at the counter. These exist to protect both of us: they are the record of what your bow looked like before we touched it. They are of the equipment, not of you.
- The quote we send and your answer to it, and the date you collected the item.
Automatically, on every visit
- Your IP address, kept briefly and used only to stop automated abuse of the booking form.
- One cookie, named
cas_session. It keeps your place while you move through the booking steps and expires when you close the browser. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, and no third-party script on this site at all.
Where your booking goes
When your appointment is confirmed, it is written into the shop's own calendars — a Google Calendar and a Zoho Calendar belonging to Archery Mauritius — so that whoever is on the bench that day can see it on their phone. The entry contains your name, the service, and the time. Those calendars are private to the shop.
This is the only routine reason your details leave our own server.
Who else can see it
We do not sell or rent your information. It is shared only with:
- Our email provider, to deliver your confirmation, reminder and receipt messages.
- WhatsApp (Meta), but only if you gave us a WhatsApp number and asked to be messaged there.
- Google and Zoho, as described above.
- Anyone we are legally required to tell, which in practice has never happened and would be a court order if it did.
How long we keep it
Photographs are stored outside the public part of the server and can only be opened by a signed-in member of shop staff. They are not reachable by guessing a web address.
What you can ask us to do
You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Email admin@pexosolutions.com and we will answer within 30 days.
One limit worth being straight about: while an item of yours is in our workshop, we cannot delete the job record — it is the proof of what we were given and what we agreed to do. Once the item is back with you, that restriction ends.
Every booking confirmation email also contains a link that lets you view or cancel that booking without signing in to anything.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over HTTPS only. Passwords are hashed, never stored as text. The keys that let us write to the shop calendars are encrypted on disk. Sign-in attempts are rate-limited. None of this makes any system perfect, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.
Children
Junior archers are welcome at the range, but a booking should be made by a parent or guardian, in their own name and with their own contact details.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that affects what we do with information we already hold, we will say so on the booking page rather than quietly updating the date at the top.
